BFI Secrets of Nature

(1931)

After watching this fantastic video of Magic Myxies, (which are a vegetable and an animal throughout the stages in its lifetime) I automatically wanted to recreate this magic substance which looks so smooth and fragile. Over the Easter period using ceramics I am going to experiment creating objects from the stills (above) and link them with my embroidery and and textile approach to unit 11.

Condition Report

 (Above 1) Tracing the movements of a man walking his dog. 

I like the idea of recording an action and turning it into 

an art work which is informative and conceptual.

 (Above 2 & 3) Recording the position of each leaf within the above photo, leaving only an

imprint of its existence.

(Above 4) Collecting objects which form a narrative and an educational collection when put together
